UV protection is non-negotiable
A dark lens with no UV filter is worse than no sunglasses at all — the tint makes your pupils dilate, letting in more UV rather than less. Every pair we sell offers genuine UV protection, regardless of brand or price point, so this is one thing you don't need to worry about when shopping with us. If you're buying elsewhere, always confirm UV400 or equivalent protection before you buy.
Polarized vs. standard lenses
Polarized lenses cut glare reflected off flat surfaces — water, wet roads, car bonnets, snow — which is why they're popular for driving, beach days and sports. Standard tinted lenses reduce overall brightness but don't remove glare the same way. If you spend a lot of time driving or near water, polarized is worth the difference; for everyday wear either works fine.
Lens colour changes what you see, not just how you look

Fit still matters more than most people think

Frame material for everyday durability
Acetate frames offer richer colour and pattern options but are slightly heavier. Metal and titanium frames are lighter and more flexible, holding their shape better if you're active or travel a lot.
